WhaleGunner
A downloadable game
Whalegunner
Sharks - they're after you.
Baby whales - that's your ammo (they expand and explode).
Unfortunately, the "ammo" doesn't kill the sharks... because I ran out of time.
Roles:
Sound Designer
Goal: Use Adobe's generate tone to create original sound effects
Most of the audio was created in Adobe Audition by tweaking generated tones. For instance, the whale song was created from three tones - two overlapping whale-ish tones, and one white noise sound for the breath. All tracks were exported seperately and then combined using Unreal's audio cues.

Sound Recipes:
Power Up
- Generate tone: Sine | 0.2 seconds
- begin @ 400 Hz (10Hz depth | 5 Hz rate)
- end @ 1200 Hz (100 Hz depth | 40 Hz rate)
- Overlay a few over each other on a multitrack, change pitch higher for each one, exponential fade ins & outs
Explosion (coming soon)
Whale sounds (coming soon)
3D Modeler
Goal: Speed model a best of some kind
Whale and shark models made in blender, roughly 10 minutes each.

Animator
Goal: Learn Blender's Animation process
Using simple armatures in Blender, I animated all creature animations. My favorite was figuring out how a shark would run after someone while out of water.
